A Word About Sustaining Members
Companies which maintain a Sustaining Membership in ASM are the backbone of the local Chapter. A Sustaining Membership signifies that company's wholehearted support of ASM activities. This is important because it is the Sustaining Membership, or the Company in effect, the Chapter will approach for support of an activity which can be only partially supported by individual members.
Activities which require the support of Sustaining Members include educational programs, seminars and social events. This cooperation, which keeps our local industries abreast of the latest technology of materials and materials working, permits our Chapter to maintain the recognition it now has as being among the best Chapters in membership quality and programming. We hereby express our appreciation to all of our sustaining members.
